OOC.
What would you like us to call you?:
Sai is fine.
My do the years fly by:
One
Character:
Name:
Sai Kay Nagori
Nicknames:*
Pork-chop, oddly there isn't very much reason to why he's called that. He is indifferent towards the food or animal.
Age:
Sixteen.
Grade:
Tenth.
cliques:
Trouble Maker
Non-Conformist
Smoker
Preference:
He goes both ways.
Outside-In
Weight:
Sai ways exactly one fifty, and doesn't really care if that means he's average or obese.
Height:
Sai stands at five foot ten.
Health Problems:*
He's had lung cancer since the age of seven due to second hand smoking. Sai has been cut open and gone through chemo several times but the cancer is persistent and after he picked up his father's habit, his doctors have found him to be a lost cause.
Eyes:
They are like liquid topaz, a golden bronze filling in his iris'. They are surprisingly warm, and show that even though Sai may look a bit intimidating he is kind and anything but ignorant and uncaring to the right people. His eyebrows are rather thin, but dark and on his left he's missing half of it due to an accidental shave.
Physical Structure:
Sai is rather large, some say it's because he's big boned, others muscle and the rest fat. Truth is it's all of the above. Sai is big boned, a trait inherited from his father who was a body builder since age ten. The muscle was thanks from his father as well as being active from his younger years, and lifting weights during his early adolescence when he became upset. Though he still retained his muscle a bit of padding has been acquired since he's slacked off on the weight lifting.
Hair:
Sai has thin locks hued an ebony black and highlighted green here and there. Though it's unusually long Pork-chop keeps his hair clean and is smooth and velvety to the touch. He keeps good care of his hair, using more conditioning products than the average female would, not to mention using products that were originally meant for females.
Clothing:
Sai is for either comfort or something that'll piss someone off. He's usually found in a pair of Tripp jeans, with the many chains jingling at his side, some find those to be a bit of a nuisance, especially during an exam. His shirts range from band- tee's, to shirts that promote alcohol, smoking, and drugs. They all end up pissing of at least one person a day which is why Pork chop will more than likely be sent to the office because he will refuse to turn his shirt inside outwards.
Markings:*
Sai has several piercings and a few tattoos. He has gauges in both ears, the left is the first one to go up in size and is usually the one this tender. His right eyebrow is pierced as well as his nose and he has snakebite. As for tattoos he has a flames spiraling up on his forearm and on the top they become the head of a dragon. His right shoulder has a skull wearing a colored Santa hat and just below the skull it reads, "Merry f**kin' Christmas".
Exterior Persona:
Sai is a very opinionated person and he will, without asking permission or waiting for an invitation, express them whenever he feels like he's inclined to. His views on politics and media are all usually negative and he some say he is just an conspiracy theories. As for labels and other society topics he either finds them to be bullshit, stupid, unrealistic or lies.
One of Pork-chop's favorite hobbies include having fun at other people's expense. He is the guy that will set up the ultimate prank just for shits and giggles and to have good laugh, he doesn't care for fame or if any one befriends him because he sticks a bottle rocket under the Senior Class President's skirt while she's giving a lecture on good school behavior. Sure they sound dangerous, and yes a lot of people are most likely to get hurt, but he doesn't care.
Towards his friends Pork-chop doesn't usually stop with the practical jokes, but he does feel bad if one of them gets hurt, still laughing but he will wholehartedly apologize. Sai is also the one that will confront anyone without hesitation who has upset someone he considers a friend. The practical jokes come later on, even if Sai does win the fight he will never stop unless his friend asks him to. This is why most find him to be loyal, even if he seems like an ass from the beginning, since it'll take a lot for Pork chop to fully trust.

Inside-Out
Inner Persona:
Inside the mind of Sai is a world without organization or order, for Sai is a very confused kid. He wonders constantly about religious matters and if he will end up going to hell, sometimes he laughs about the matter and other times he'll sit for hours in wonder. But it's not just the wrath of God does he ponder, he tends to think about his future and if his parents will be the death of him.
But inwardly, he is also very caring, surprisingly. He believes that everyone, no matter how naive, ignorant or insane they are, all deserve an equal chance at life. But here is where he also tends to become absorbed into his mind; he wonders if that means someone should help them or try to open their mind or act as if they give a damn, but then he wonders if he'll just be wasting his time and this is usually what starts one of his mental debates.
Talents:
His ultimate talent, even though he wouldn't as proudly take claim of it, would involve anything with practical jokes and making his stream of enemies perpetual. His mind stores several formulas for small bombs and ingredients and other tools needed to make anything and everything from a perfectly made "Kick Me Hard" sign and effortlessly place it on a victim's back to a dozen cherry bombs going off to drive someone into something that will do more than just smell.
Not-so Talents:
Even though 'Sai' means 'painter', ironically Sai cannot draw or paint in any way shape or form. He's learned to stick with stick figures and a bunch of brush strokes that make his teacher's think he's going for something abstract.
Fears:
Pork-chop fears death, which is also rather ironic since he has the basic enigma attitude and makes explosives on a daily basis. One would think that after bumping into the Grim Reaper on several occasions that Sai would have come accustomed to the thought of death but he hasn't. It's more of the fear of how he will die and what happens afterward, than anything else.
He also fears clowns and falling into large holes, though not for any particular reason. His father often tends to make him fearful as well, but Sai is more afraid that he'll become what his father is than his dad his self.
Loves:
Sai loves wide spaces to roam in or if he is in a closed area than he'll love it as long as the area has plenty of places where he can either hide or set up something that will go boom. Which brings us to his ultimate passion, practical pranks and pissing people off.
Pork-chop also has a love for music, mainly because it's the way others can express themselves if the only way. He finds music a way to connect with people he doesn't even know and as long as it's not ignorant beyond all perception he'll definitely listen to it. And he's found that when he's along, music is a great comfort.
Other than that he has a few other passions or loves, like being clean and smelling fruity and just hanging out with his friends and or significant other.
Hates:
Pork-chop mainly hates people, not all but the ones that are ignorant, narrow minded or just a whore, the ones he can't trust. As well as homo-phobics, although he does get a kick out of messing with their heads a bit. Sai also detests anything that has been given a certain race or gender and lastly, his father.
Interests:
Pissing people off, playing practical jokes, blowing something up, and hanging out with people he considers a friend.
Turn ons:
Whether it's on a guy or girl he loves thoroughly kept long hair, the smell of soft perfume or cologne, piercings and tattoos, except for on their genitals or totally excessive. But he also looks into their mind, how open minded they are, or if they think they can better him at a prank or just simply flatter him about his work. Sai also loves it if they have certain ticks, like if a girl bites her lip- or his- or if a guy taps his finger at the corner of his mouth when he's wondering about something.
Turn offs:
Ignorance, stupidity, pierced privates, talking to much, and when majority of the conversations become sexual.
Music:
Pork chop listens to about every genera of music as long as it's not ignorant, speaking about killing someone over something trivial, idolizing woman or about meaningless sex. His favorite genres are metalcore or deathcore, like All That Remains or Atreyu, but he will also listen to the oldies, going as far as back to music that started the rock music in the first place, the blues.
Background.
History:
Sai Nagori was born on October thirteenth, healthy and crying his head off as he rushed out of his mother's room, for she was hemerging and the doctor's noticed this just shortly after she greeted her son. And on October thirteenth, Sai's mother died and though the thought of not having a mother around and seeing his friends with their moms had always plagued his mind and tormented him, his father never seemed to upset about it and that was enough for him to stay strong.
But his father was keeping things from him, he was severely depressed but his job and son kept him from doing anything to stupid. His one ambition in life was to go into pro wrestling, he'd been training his entire life for it and when Sai had just turned five, his father twisted his ankle during his day job at Lowe's and didn't have the money for it to be looked at properly, he thought it would just heal on its own. But unfortunately, it didn't, it grew worse and for a while Toby Nagori was in so much pain that he couldn't walk and by the time a doctor looked at it, it was too late, the bones had fractured and were no longer growing properly, thus meaning they were very brittle and that meant he couldn't lift anything to heavy, or over exercise.
His father was distraught and found no more reason to live, he would never become that famous wrestler or even be allowed to tone his body any more. Toby didn't pick up drinking or drugs like some would, instead he would sit on the couch and ignore Sai. Eventually Sai grew upset at his father's abnormal behavior, his dad and him were rather close, his father would buy Sai the moon if he could but not now and this is what brought on the rage and hate and above all fear.
Sai only stood up to his dad once, when he was six years old and the day before his dad started smoking, and his father threw a chair at him, knocking him out for about an hour or so. His father just laid on the couch while he son was on the ground unconscious.
Not until a year later did Sai find himself hacking up his lung, sometimes there would be a dull pain his chest and when he finally began to cough up blood did his father take him to the emergency room- but only because his teacher's directed him to. After sitting in the smoke filled house for a year and inhaling his father's smoke for hours at a time caused a cancer to form in Sai's left lung and the doctor's told him right then and there that he was going to day in less than a year. And it was this that sparked Sai's fear of death.
Years passed and it was several times that the doctors cut him open, removed the cancer and or started him on a chemotherapy treatment, but the cancer was persistent and in total Sai was told that he was to die eight times, and every time he believed it, he couldn't help but think that this time would certainly most be the last. But after twenty cancer removals and thirty three chemotherapy sessions, Sai had enough, he was tired of being cut and being told that he was going to die, he wanted to find something else to live for or someone.
At thirteen Sai picked up his first cigarette, he was curious, he wanted to know what was so great about it and why his father wasted all there money on them. He found out soon, after inhaling his first Menthol Camel he was hooked, and he found something that had somewhat ended his hate in his father, but the fear never subsided, and if it did it was only for a moment.
Now, sixteen years old and a knack for making things go boom, Sai has been moved to a secluded place. He was sent here to live with his Aunt, partially because his father was evicted from their apartment and partially because he is now on probation after his extensive record of criminal assault, he can't go to far here, and that's just what the court wants.
