She was born and raised a simple, normal child. She was very small for her age and was growing very ill.
She was to die. Fortunatly her parents were scientists who were working on an antidote for her disease ever since she was born.
They came to realise that they couldn’t cure it, so they tried to alter her dna to make her stronger.
She was lay down on a bed in her tenth year to go through the procedures of curing her illness.
After they were done stabbing her with needles, injecting and taking she was asleep for five days.
When she finally awoke they were there to great her. This was a big mistake. She didn’t even recognize them or know who they were.
Objects were swooping and crashing everywhere as her mind boggled in confusion. Who were these people in front of her, They seemed angry. Or worried....maybe. What did they want?
In all her confusion she’d jumped up out of the table bed and ran for the door. She’d fled, nighty and all, afraid and unsure.
Her memory of her parents nothing but a blur in her brain.
Kariee ran for a mile and finally stopped. Her lungs burned and she felt like she was inhaling water. Was she going to die? How did she even get here? Maybe those people were trying to help her.
She sighed heavily; there was no sense in going back now. They wouldn’t accept her back. She probably made them angry.
She sat down in the grass and stared out at the road. A small cat was crossing over it. It was a cute cat, anorexic thin, all white with random splotches of black and orange on her back. Her tail and head were all black with a few white specks in them.
There was a low rumbling and a ear piercing screeching as a car turned the corner and came tearing down the street. She looked back over at the cat, worried for it.
“C’mere kitty!” she called, holding her hand out to it, “C’mover here li’l kitty!” she called more urgently, looking from the car to the cat again. The car wasn’t slowing and the cat wasn’t moving. What was the cat thinking? Was it on a suicide mission?
The car was coming in much closer now, she watched it urgently, hoping that it would slow, or the cat would move. Why wasn’t it slowing? They wouldn’t hurt the poor kitty, would they?
She frowned, staring the car down.
Just stop already! She thought.
...and with those three words it did stop. It stopped right in front of the cat, the back end of it up in a 40 degree angle. The cat let out a small ‘meow’ and waltzed over to her. She picked it up and stared at the car, confused.
I didn’t think cars could do that. Weird.
Suddenly a warm feeling came over her and a blue film enveloped her. The car and forest around her disappeared and she was in the a blue room. The whole room wasn’t blue of course, but the walls were. Everything else was either black or had a wooden texture. There was a small table and a light. A person sat at the table and looked over at her like they had been expecting her.
“Hello kariee.” The friendly female said, “I’m Professor Iva, pleasure to meet you. This is Professor Tyrell’s school for the Gifted.”
Kariee stared at the beautiful woman in wonder, “What?” she asked, noticing the cat was still in her arms.
Everything about the human world and gifted world was then explained to her and she was shown around the whole school. The school where she would spend the majority of her time now.
Family: doesn’t know.
Your Gift:
Telekinesis, {Ability to manipulate and control objects with the mind, often in ways not visible to the naked eye.}
Invisibility.
Telepathy is what it could be categorized under. She doesn't exactly know what else to call it. But basically she can see things through other people's eyes, as well as let them see through her own eyes. This is actually a really handy gift for tight situations, like if she became a part of the army she could turn invisible and sneak up on them and be showing everyone on her squad what was going on! But..other than that. It's good for nothing. Although it she finds it fun to see what's going on through the eyes of others.
The only downside is that when she lets people see through her own eyes they can also hear her thoughts.
How you got your gift: She doesn’t know. (her DNA was tampered with though)
Where do you live: mutant
What do you think of the Humans and other gifteds: They’re pretty cool, the other gifted that is. Except the bad ones. They’re just totally screwed in the head. The humans on the other hand, i’m sure there’s some good ones out there. But most of them are just blind. (not in the physical sense of course XP –laughs, looking over at Isaiah- oh dear...No they’re blind in their ability to see more then just themselves.)
