"Thanks." her voice cracked as she spoke. He blushed at her thanking, almost ashamed to have given her such a wretched compliment.
She averted her eyes from him and a small smile grew on her face. Judging by her reaction, she enjoyed his compliment which lifted a load of weight from his back.
She gazed down at the sink. His eyes followed hers, he watched the spinning colour in the remaining bubbles as they danced before them. Aly put her hand in the sink and pulled the plug out.
He examined her hands, enjoying the smooth texture they proudly presented. The poor lighting in the small house sent shadows creeping in the corners.
A loud sucking noise erupted from the drain, releasing him of the still silence and from his inner thoughts. Her eyes managed goggled up at him and he glanced down at her. His black hair still disheveled and rather wet, from her dropping the bubbles and water on his head still masked his eyes.
She smiled brightly and ruffled his hair with both her hands. He laughed and squinted, blood red eyes peeking through the moving hair.
"Sorry abou' tha'," she said, "Ah s'pose ah got a bit carried away..." He turned away from her. "No." He laughed and turned back, his eyes scanning her face from her pointed nose to her stunning green eyes highlighted by beautiful freckles. "It's my fault." Exhaling a sigh, he looked around the house again. Games ran through his head, so that he wouldn't have to walk home just yet. Truth or Dare? Poker? Fifty-two pick up? Shag Tag? ...Tag?
He was going to take a large risk on his next actions. His heart beat heavily in his chest, knocking on bars to escape. Leaning forward, he snuck a kiss on her cheek and took a step away.
"You're it." Kissing tag? Gods he was a fool.

He turned away from her. She watched him closely, unsure of what he was thinking.
"No."
He laughed and turned back "It's my fault." she frowned, what was he talking about? Well, okay so he had put some suds on her nose, and she kindly overreacted to it all. She shouldn’t have dumped water on his head though, with bubbles to boot!! It was a...spur of the moment action. It couldn’t be helped.
Exhaling a sigh Tyr looked around the house again. What was he thinking? Did he want to leave? Well he could if he wanted, it was fairly late. Sally would probably be home soon anyways. Not that she was much company. She was definitely an odd aunt.
Without warning he leaned forward and snuck a kiss on her cheek and took a step away. "You're it."
Her eyes grew slightly wide, while her cheeks burned a crimson red. Had he just...yes...it was obvious he had just kissed her. But...why. you’re it. was this a game? How did it work? She’d never heard of it before. What was she supposed to do now? Kiss him back?
Her face lighted up with a pleased grin, “C’mere, I have a secret.” Although, it was clear no one else was around to hear it. She leaned forward a bit and kissed his cheek, pausing a moment then backing away. What was she supposed to do now? Should she run? No, he hadn’t run. Maybe she should run...how did the game work? Did people play this game a lot? Well, she knew the game tag...and that involved running away from the person who was ‘IT’. Now he was it. So...
She sped walked around him and shuffled her way to the living room...

Her eyes grew slightly wide, while her cheeks burned a crimson red. He smiled and drifted into relaxation. His body stood, awkward awaiting her next move as he watched her face twist in embarrassment. And all he could picture was Aly and he running together hand in hand away from the world and pain surrounding them. Away from school, from enemies, from the past and future. And he smiled, content at her actions. Content at his own brilliancy.
Her face lighted up with a pleased grin, “C’mere, I have a secret.” He grew excited, a secret between the two of them! Oh how marvelous! Although, it was clear now that no one else was around to hear it in the first place. She leaned forward a bit, he smiled and bent down, leaning forward to her. How he craved to touch her skin, to caress it lovingly with all that he could.
She kissed his cheek, paused a moment then backed away. He stood straight, startled that she had accepted his offer of kissing tag. He blushed, his heart pounding against the bar cages. And his body was light but slow. He tried to move, his muscles ceased to allow the free movement. And he fought against his sinful mind, thoughts and words clogging his throat. Other men said they have seen angels, But I have seen thee And thou art enough.
She sped walked around him and shuffled her way to the living room. He followed her after his few moments in solitude. His large quick steps soon overtook hers and suddenly he was behind her, smelling her strawberry hair as she tried to escape.
He spoke to her softly, mostly to himself as he chased her adorable body. "To be in love is merely to be In a state of perpetual anesthesia: To mistake an ordinary young man for a Greek god Or an ordinary young woman for a goddess." She turned quite suddenly to his words, tripping as she did so. He was too close to react and soon, he too fell on top of Aly. He froze, all thoughts focused on one action directly, one sinful action that he dared not commit. She turned and he found her to be more beautiful than he could ever imagine.
He swallowed hard, his arms shaking with excitement.
"Seduce my mind and you can have my body, Find my soul and I'm yours forever." His voice croaked, small squeaks were intertwined into his words.
Bending forward, he gently kissed her cheek with his soft pale lips. He reared back, still leaning over top of her body. "I'd like to run away from you." He started, his hair fell away from his face as he looked down. His red eyes scanned her face again, absorbing all beauty that shone brightly from it. "But if you didn't come and find me..." He bent forward, whispering the last words into her left ear. His left hand touched her face lovingly, as he stroked her skin. His Angel. His Mother. His Lover.
"I would die. " [/sub]

His large quick steps soon overtook hers and suddenly he was behind her
He spoke to her softly as he chased her.
"To be in love is merely to be In a state of perpetual anesthesia: To mistake an ordinary young man for a Greek god Or an ordinary young woman for a goddess."
Aly wasn't exactly sure what he was talking about. Something about love...and greek gods. She turned suddenly and big surprise she tripped over her feet. That saying; to fall head over heels- well that's how she felt as she tumbled to the ground, Tyr, being too close, fell on top of her.
It was all slow motion. Then she just lay there, time back to normal, she felt herself unable to breath. She felt his arms shaking slightly and a swallow was heard.
"Seduce my mind and you can have my body, Find my soul and I'm yours forever." His voice croaked, small squeaks intertwined in his words. She smiled lightly, her cheeks feeling hot. He was so adorable.
Bending forward, he gently kissed her cheek with his soft pale lips.
He reared back, still leaning over top of her body.
"I'd like to run away from you."
He started, his hair fell away from his face as he looked down. His red eyes scanned her face and she wanted to smile, but she didn't. She just stared up at him worried. She could feel her heartbeat racing faster and faster. He wanted to...run away from her. Was this for the game? Could he not get up? . . .
"But if you didn't come and find me..."
He bent forward, whispering the last words into her left ear. His left hand touched her face lovingly, as he stroked her skin.
"I would die. "
Her eyes closed and she was about to wrap her arms around his neck when the front door opened. The thumping of boots sounded. Work boots. Sally's work boots.
She opened her eyes back up and looked to the left, where the front door was just around the corner.
"How come all these lights are on? Aly? You're up pretty late what are you do....ing?"
She watched as her aunt came into the living room. Oh dear. There wasn't even any time to move off the floor. Out from under Tyr. From where it would look incredibly bad to anybody who didn't know what was going on...
Sally smiled, walking closer to Aly, she grabbed her arm and lift her up, "What are you doing on the ground dear? If you're tired you can sleep in your bed, or even on a couch. The ground is no place for you to lay."
Aly stared at her aunt, completely lost. She looked back down at Tyr, who was sitting on the ground, then back at her aunt.
"Uh-"
"Yes, yes I know you're tired. Don't worry. Come along to bed now."
"But um." she frowned, rubbing the scar on her forehead.
Seeing Aly rubbing her head Sally patted her shoulder, "Oh is your head hurting again dear?"
"No, Ah'm fine Sally. And Ah was fine on the floor too. By the way, tha's my friend, Tyr." she said, grabbing Sally's shoulders and turning her around to face Tyr.
"Hmm, Tyr, is it?" Sally asked stepping closer,"Aly, go to your room please. You need sleep dear."
Aly didn't move. What was Sally going to do? If she needed to say something to Tyr she could say it in front of her!
"Aly. Go to your room please." Her aunt said between clenched teeth.
A tear jerked at her eye as she looked at Tyr one last time, then turned to go to her room. She closed the door beind her, but pressed her ear up against the door. ___________________________________________________ Sally stepped closer to Tyr more, "You. You stay away from Aly. She doesn't need any more loss in her life. She's just recovered from one and doesn't need to hurt again!" When Sally had finished speaking she was nearly nose to nose with Tyr, her pointing finger, poking him in the chest.
Sally could tell that Aly liked this boy and he most definitely liked her. She wasn't one hundred percent sure how long they'd known each other, but either way, she had to stop catastrophe before it happened.
"If you know what's best for yourself, Aly and anybody then you'll stay away from her." Sally continued on, backing away from Tyr. "You seem like a nice enough boy." she said, crossing her arms. Yes, a much nicer boy than that Elijah guy. She scowled inwardly at the memory. Stupid boy, he'd gotten angry at the diner table and dropped one of her nice plates. It had broken and he hadn't even offered to clean it up. It was good Aly hit her head. Stupid girl and her concussions.
Sally looked back up at Tyr, greenish eyes glaring down at him. She was trying to scare him. Scare him..to save him.
But . . . if they loved each other, could a simple scare make things better?
This boy may be stubborn . . . and.
She shook her head and smiled at him, "However, if you think you're strong enough, you may stay with her." She leaned in closer to the boy, her eyes staring into his,
"How much do you love her?"

The door slammed behind her as she closed it. Her nose scrunched up as well as her shoulders. She hadn’t meant to shut it so hard. But oh well. Sally was being stupid anyways, telling her to go to her room. What was she, five years old again? She wasn’t even her mother!
Aly dropped down on the bed, her face in her pillow. She exhaled deeply and then listened closely to what was being said outside her room. A minute of mumbling went by, but she couldn’t understand one word of it.
She sat up right. Her back was killing her. Sliding down brick walls was not a preferred sport for one with an injured back. She slid out of her shirt, walking over to the mirror; she faced her back to it. Looking over her shoulder she saw the scars on her back. The ones that had been there ever since she could remember-- which was saying something, considering she had amnesia.
The scars weren’t normal ones. Not just a simple scrap or anything. No, these were deep slashes-- Four of them in total. Two X’s over either side of her spine. She had no idea how she got it, where she got. Maybe she was attacked..who knows. But one thing was for sure, it killed. The pain was unbearable sometimes. It was like a knife digging into butter. Just imagine how that butter feels! Poor thing.
It felt like little critters wanted to crawl out of her back, to escape. To be free. They weren’t allowed though. It was all sown up and there was no escape. Maybe someday there would be an escape. HA-ha that was about as likely as getting off this island!
She pulled on an overly large red hoodie and walked over to her window. She lift it up and clambered out. She loved living in a house that had only one floor. It was so much easier to get away. Get away from what though? Sally? She laughed slightly. Poor Tyr was still in there. Sally’d let him go soon..maybe. Who knows. Didn’t matter. She’d probably never see him again. Bloody aunt Sally.
She dug her hands deep into her pockets after putting her hood up. Her ear buds were in and the music took her away from her current pains. “Chiquitita, tell me whats wrong? You’re enchained by your own sorrow. In your eyes there is no hope for tomorrow. How I hate to see you like this. There is no way you can deny it. I can see that you’re oh so sad, so quiet.”

He watched her eyes close. He smiled and leaned in closer to her face, willing to plant the tagging kiss upon her beautiful female lips. The front door creaked open and heavy work boots shuffled in through the door. He froze, glancing over to where the sound came from. Aly did also, her head turning on the carpet below her.
"How come all these lights are on? Aly? You're up pretty late what are you do-" Tyr tensed as she turned the corner, noticing what looked like teenage lust. "-ing?" He said nothing and dared not to move, but his body was rigid and still.
Sally smiled, walking closer to Aly, she grabbed her arm and lift her up. Tyr stayed on his spot on the floor. He looked up at the older woman, she looked menacing from this angle. It was best if he stayed feeble. "What are you doing on the ground dear? If you're tired you can sleep in your bed, or even on a couch. The ground is no place for you to lay."
Tyr glanced over to Aly, his expression equal to hers. Completely lost and confused. Aly looked down at him, he was willing to explain. He was also willing to leave out a few minor details.
"Uh-" she started, Tyr opened his mouth to speak but remained mute.
"Yes, yes I know you're tired. Don't worry. Come along to bed now." "But um." Aly frowned, rubbing the scar on her forehead. "Oh is your head hurting again dear?" Tyr watched their conversation before him, trying to decipher what his next actions should be. To stand and explain? Or get kicked out. He would still talk to Aly sometime, he knew it. "No, Ah'm fine Sally. And Ah was fine on the floor too. By the way, tha's my friend, Tyr." she said, grabbing Sally's shoulders and turning her around to face him.
Tyr nodded his head, hair masking his red eyes. He would leave quite an impression on the poor guardian, he knew it.
"Hmm, Tyr, is it?" Sally asked stepping closer,"Aly, go to your room please. You need sleep dear." He stayed tense, watching her closely. She was trying to get them alone, he understood now. Aly didn't move. Tyr flashed his eyes over to her, almost begging her to leave. "Aly. Go to your room please." Her aunt said between clenched teeth. He smiled to himself, she was deathly frightening.
A tear jerked at Aly's eye as she looked back at him one last time, then turned to go to her room. Tyr and Sally sat in silence waiting for the click of the door.
Sally stepped closer to Tyr more, "You. You stay away from Aly. She doesn't need any more loss in her life. She's just recovered from one and doesn't need to hurt again!" When Sally had finished speaking she was nearly nose to nose with him, her pointing finger, poked him in the chest. Tyr frowned, unsure whether now was an appropriate time to speak, or if he should just leave. But what was she talking about? He wasn't hurting her was he?
"If you know what's best for yourself," she continued. "Aly and anybody then you'll stay away from her." Sally continued on, backing away from him. Tyr exhaled a sigh of relief. He was starting to crack under the pressure. "You seem like a nice enough boy." she said, crossing her arms. Tyr's eye narrowed, his lip raised slightly as he stared at her. What? Sally looked back at Tyr, greenish eyes glaring down at him. It was best he stood now. She was taking advantage of the situation.
He rose to his feet, standing alone in the room with this crazy woman in front of him. "However, if you think you're strong enough, you may stay with her." She leaned in closer to the boy, her eyes staring into his, "How much do you love her?"
He sighed, she wasn't as scary when he stood. "Excuse me for my intrusion," he started. "But what are you talking about?"

Sally crossed her arms as the boy stood up a frown creasing her face.
"Excuse me for my intrusion," he started.
"But what are you talking about?"
Sally sighed and walking over to the couch. It was placed right in front of a large window viewing the road and houses across the street. She really didn't want to have to talk to this Tyr boy about everything. In fact she couldn't tell him everything. But she could tell him everything needed to make life easier for him. He clearly wasn't going to leave with a simple warning.
She patted the seat beside her on the couch, "Have a sit down." she said, then looked out the window for a while, gazing into the street light.
How could she actually go about explaining things to him? There was really way to much to tell. It was all a bit crazy and confusing.
"To start off, she thinks she was born and raised in Austalia," she began, looking back at the boy, "And she always comes up with different ways that her parents died, each time she tells people a changed story. But more often than not she will tell them that they were killed in a scuba diving accident, this one is true." she watched Tyr, trying to make sure he was understanding everything.
"She was actually raised in England. She only ever had a few good friends, one of them coincedentally lives here, Elijah Burnham...have you meet him? Probably not. He's a pain in your backside, that I gaurantee!" she smiled slightly at the thought of the boy and shook her head.
"She's had so many concussions, you know. Her head has been hit so many times, each time it takes away some of her memory with it. Over time she gains it back. But sometimes she doesn't. She has no idea what her parents were like and completely forgot who Eli was. Tragic really." she looked down at her hands, then back up at Tyr. He seemed confused, although she couldn't exactly tell with his eyes covered and all.
"Are you digesting everything alright? Is there anything I might be leaving out? I have nothing against you really..but she's just recently recovered from an..injury. I don't know...she's just a hopeless wreck. Bad luck seems to cling to that girl."

Sally patted the seat beside her on the couch as she sat near the window, "Have a sit down." she said, then looked continued to look out the window for a while. He paused, unsure of whether he should go and sit or if he should stay safe in the middle of the room. He knew the exit route. Still, she seemed concerned for Aly and it effected him as well. So he cursed temptation and his Angel. Stalking forward, he sat farthest away from Sally as he could.
"To start off, she thinks she was born and raised in Australia," she began, looking back up at Tyr. Tyr was hooked instantly. He inched a bit closer to her. "And she always comes up with different ways that her parents died, each time she tells people a changed story. But more often than not she will tell them that they were killed in a scuba diving accident, this one is true." she watched Tyr, he felt her eyes piercing through his soul, reeling him in with each venom word she spat at him. But he was intrigued and took a few inches closer to the woman.
"She was actually raised in England. She only ever had a few good friends, one of them coincidentally lives here, Elijah Burnham-" He sneered and inched back to his beginning position. Anger began to rise. So the asshole knew her in the first place? Playing her as a toy? He would have a word with him. "Have you meet him? Probably not. He's a pain in your backside, that I guarantee!" she smiled slightly and shook her head.
Tyr remained silent, his teeth clamping down on his tongue before he stormed and let the waters flow, drowning poor Sally in his rage.
Although Tyr remained confused, he also had a rush of relief.
"Are you digesting everything alright? Is there anything I might be leaving out? I have nothing against you really..but she's just recently recovered from an..injury. I don't know...she's just a hopeless wreck. Bad luck seems to cling to that girl." she asked.
Tyr heaved a sigh, exhaling all air his lungs would allow before breathing in fresh. He opened his mouth to speak, but pondered countless minutes before he actually did. "Did they ever-" He stopped, even thinking of the rest of the sentence tortured his soul. His hands clenched into fists as he breathed calming breaths. He would be okay, he knew he would. He would do it for his Angel. His Mother. For Aly. [/sub]

Tyr heaved a sigh. It was incredibly annoying how little he was talking. She needed to know what this kid was thinking. She couldn't help him understand the situation if he didn't help her out here.
"Did they ever-"
He cut himself off and seemed to be struggling within to hold in what he wished to ask. Of course it was pretty obvious what he was getting at. She couldn't blame him for being curious.
"Well, I think you're asking the wrong person about that one." she told him flatly. Sally exhailed, thinking, but not really thinking. Just having a restful mind.
"Sorry to keep you. You can go if you wish," she said getting up, "But...." she looked down the hall where Aly supposably was, " Just take things slow and be cautious."

"Well, I think you're asking the wrong person about that one." she told him flatly. He closed his eyes, breathing slowly as to calm his heart. The beats were painful and pierced him through. Biting his lower lip, he glanced upward at her. Watching her closely, examining every inch of her face. He wanted more than this. What would happen if Aly began to remember? Would she return to the brute or stay with he? Gods, he loved her so much.
"Sorry to keep you. You can go if you wish," she said getting up, "But...." she looked down the hall where Aly was, " Just take things slow and be cautious."
He too stood, taking the hint and walked beside Sally. Heaving a sigh, he cleched his fists. "I wouldn't do anything to hurt her Miss. Potter."
Walking to the door, he turned to face her before he closed it.
"I love her far too much than that loquotious fool." Closing the door, he turned to walked home. He swore he could stil hear her voice in the air. His sweet Angel. His Mother. His love.
